SIC works to make United Kingdom workplaces more inclusive and accessible, as a byproduct reducing the disability employment gap. They offer an online resource, training, workshop, and consultancy that assist all stages of the employer's journey: Attract, Hire, Develop, and Retain disabled and neurodivergent talent. The work is underpinned with up-to-date data and research but firmly rooted in lived experience of disability, chronic illness, and neurodivergence. This income is reinvested to deliver free events, free matchmaking between mentors and mentees, and easily accessible e-learning support for disabled and neurodivergent professionals. SIC is a registered Community Interest Company and proudly aligns itself with Social Enterprise UK, Unltd, and Volunteer Services Birmingham. The work of SIC would go, in a small way, toward a better and more inclusive career landscape for disabled and neurodivergent individuals by their inclusive services.
