Sustainable Run for Development (SURUDEV) is a non-profit, non-denominational organization established in 2007 and legally registered in 2010 in Cameroon. With a mission to promote inclusive, equitable, and sustainable development, SURUDEV works to transform environmental and agricultural landscapes to sustain livelihoods for marginalized communities. Their efforts focus on community-led initiatives, including biodiversity conservation, waste management, promoting renewable energy, climate-smart agriculture, and ensuring food security and income security. SURUDEV addresses poverty by empowering local communities through sustainable agriculture practices, entrepreneurship, and agripreneurship. They also promote peace and interfaith dialogue, deliver relief services to displaced persons, and raise awareness about health, sanitation, and gender equality. By nurturing traditional wisdom and encouraging progressive mindsets, SURUDEV aims to ensure that everyone, especially the disadvantaged, has access to opportunities that promote environmental, economic, and social well-being.
