Our Race recognizes lived experience as the highest level of expertise and empowers story holders to control and share their narratives on their terms. They provide training, collaborative consulting, workshops, and storytelling circles to promote ethical storytelling practices. Their Transformational Ethical Story Telling (TEST) framework shifts the balance of power, enabling story holders to become the creators and directors of their own stories. The Story Holder Fund ensures fair compensation for those who have historically been silenced, allowing their stories to be shared with dignity and respect. Our Race operates on a pay-as-you-feel model, offering pro bono services to small, not-for-profit organizations and social enterprises, and providing free online resources. As a registered charity and member of the Social Enterprise Council of NSW & ACT all profits are reinvested into their mission of advocating for safe, ethical storytelling practices.
