Community Cloud Forest Conservation (CCFC) is dedicated to improving the lives of communities living in Guatemala's central highlands while protecting the region’s cloud forests. By focusing on sustainable development, CCFC integrates educational programs, particularly for young women, and encourages environmentally friendly practices, including reforestation and ecologically responsible agriculture. One of their key goals is to alleviate poverty by empowering local communities with the knowledge and resources to develop sustainable livelihoods. CCFC also works to preserve biodiversity through habitat restoration and environmental education, ensuring future generations can thrive in a healthier ecosystem. Their current initiative includes fundraising to purchase land for conservation, which will provide a sanctuary for both flora and fauna.
